Establish Service

To initiate a new utility service, it is necessary to complete either a Residential Service Application (PDF) or a Commercial/Industrial Service Application (PDF). In addition, the City is pleased to offer a discounted rate for our residential customers over the age of 65. To receive this discount, a Senior Citizen Discount Request Form (PDF) will need to be completed. Additionally, a copy of your purchase or lease agreement documents along with identification is required. These forms can be completed off-site and submitted at the Utility Billing Office in the Corsicana Government Center located at 200 N 12th Street Corsicana, TX 75110. Additionally, please refer to the Service Requirements to provide all required documents to initiate service. 

All required documents can also be sent via email to customerservice@corsicanatx.gov. City ordinance requires a refundable deposit and a non-refundable connection fee to initiate service for each account. Please refer to the Utility Rates and Fees (PDF) section of the City of Corsicana Fee Schedule for the applicable deposit and fees.

Disconnect Service

To close your Utility account, you will need to complete a Disconnect Form. There are several options available, for your convenience. This service can be completed online, in person (at the Utility Billing Office) or over the phone by contacting customer service at 903-654-4825, during normal business hours. You will be required to confirm identifying information (i.e. driver’s license number, last four digits of social security number, date of birth, etc.). In certain instances, this request may only be completed in person.

Transfer Service

To transfer service to another service address within the City of Corsicana Utility System, you will need to complete a Transfer Application (PDF). A transfer fee will be accessed to initiate the transfer. You will be required to pay any past due balance prior to transferring service. Additionally, please refer to the Service requirements to provide all required documents to initiate service.
