City Election Information

City of Corsicana's Elections are conducted by the Navarro County Elections Administrator.

 The next scheduled General Election for the City of Corsicana will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The purpose of the election is to elect: Council Member, Place 1 and Council Member Place 2 to serve two-year terms.

Applications from qualified persons interested in running for any of the above­ referenced places during the filing period designated by state law, as shown below will be accepted. During the filing period, the City Secretary's Office will receive completed and notarized applications at the City of Corsicana Government Center, located at 200 N. 12th St., Corsicana, Texas 75110, during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding City holidays. 

The next general election will take place May 2, 2026, for Council Member Precinct 1 and Council Member Precinct 2. The first day to file an application for a place on the ballot is January 14, 2026 and ends February 13, 2026.
