Navarro County and City of Corsicana are teaming up to host the 27th Annual Cleanup Day on Saturday, June 2nd at the Corsicana Regional Landfill at Jester Road on East Hwy 31. This program seeks to provide an opportunity for the proper disposal of solid waste in order to improve the environmental quality and community pride in the City of Corsicana and Navarro County. The program is open to all residents of Navarro County. Approved items that you can dispose of include: large appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, etc), furniture (couches, chairs, tables, entertainment centers, mattresses, etc), entertainment equipment (televisions, stereos, speakers etc), agricultural pesticide containers that have been triple rinsed and punctured, daily household garbage and brush/limbs. Tires will not accepted on this day. Tire collection day is September 7, 2018 at the Navarro Expo Center. All loads must be tarped and firmly secured to trucks and trailers according to the TCEQ regulations. Assistance will be available to unload your items. Volunteers will be available to take items to the landfill on June 2nd, for elderly and disabled residents in the Corsicana area. For this assistance you must call 903-654-3075 by 5 pm on Thursday, May 31st. Please note that call-ins will not be accepted Friday or Saturday.
