How can I get a library card?
To obtain a library card you must display current picture ID with your correct address. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must show their picture ID and sign the library card application. Library cards are free to city residents displaying acceptable forms of ID. There is an annual $20 fee for persons residing outside the city limits. Replacement cards are $5. In lieu of money we also accept food for fines. One canned good represents one dollar and the food is donated to support our local food pantry. Food for fines will only be accepted for late fines and not lost or damaged items.
